(a) Physical product purchases
Can I return my order?
We will accept returns for the usual reasons detailed below. When returning any item to us it is essential to contact us as soon as possible so that we can help you.
What do I do if I receive the wrong item?
Please contact us to inform us of the mistake and we will advise how to return the incorrect item(s) where necessary. Please note we can only replace or refund for unused items. If you have received an incorrect item and wish an exchange or a refund, please ensure the item is returned in unused, unopened saleable condition.
What do I do if my order arrives damaged?
If you receive a visibly damaged-in-transit item, please decline the delivery and contact us as soon as possible.

PLEASE NOTE: We cannot issue a refund for items you have knowingly accepted with visible packaging damage.
In the unlikely event someone else has accepted the damaged package on your behalf, we need to be informed of damaged items within 24hrs of delivery due to the restrictions on claims by the delivery agents. Please provide photographs of the damage. If we are not informed within this time then we will not be able to help.
What do I do if my order is faulty when it arrives?
We try to ensure every item that leaves our premises is “fit for purpose”. In the unlikely event you receive a faulty item, please contact us as soon as possible, and within 48hrs days of receipt. Please provide photographs of the fault where possible. We will provide you with details of how to return the faulty item(s) where necessary.
What do I do if my order develops a fault after it has been used?
Please contact us to inform us of the fault. Items can be returned up to 30 days from date of delivery. Sale items can be returned up to 14 days from date of delivery. Regular orders (not sale items) over the Christmas period can be returned until the end of January, provided you have informed us within the quoted time limits.
Hand-made items
Fermentation weights and crocks are made by a local master potter to order. They are double-fired using food-safe glazes and are impervious to fermentation acidity. Each item is unique and no two are the same. They may have minor imperfections, as can be expected, because they are hand-made; however, such minor imperfections do not impact their use, longevity and functionality. These items should only be hand-washed with ecologically friendly washing up liquid and allowed to air-dry before each use.
As these hand-made items are uniquely made to your prior order, we do not accept returns on fermentation crocks and weights unless they develop a fault within 30 days of use. If the item develops a fault as a result of having been knocked, dropped, otherwise misused, not used for its original intended purpose, or not used according to instructions, no refund will be issued.
What do I do if I change my mind about something when it arrives?
Please contact us to tell us that you’ve changed your mind and we will issue a returns number and details of how to return the unwanted item. Unwanted items can be returned up to 14 days from date of delivery. Orders over the Christmas period can be returned until the end of January. Postage paid for the delivery of your order is non-refundable and return postage is to be paid by you. Your refund will be credited after the returned goods have been inspected by us. Please do not return goods which aren’t in their original, re-saleable condition. Any items returned which are not in perfect, original condition or have been damaged in transit won’t be credited, so please ensure you have used adequate packing methods.

We regret we cannot issue a refund for any items made to order, namely hand-made fermentation weights and fermentation vessels.
Who pays the return postage costs?
If the order needs to be returned because of a fault or a mistake on our part then please contact us and we will arrange for a courier service collection. We may not be able to refund postal costs if you decide to use your own postal service.
If the order is returned because it wasn’t suitable or you changed your mind, the postage costs are your responsibility. Please contact us in the first instance. We can arrange for a courier service collection from your premises. The cost of this service will be deducted from any refund we may issue.
Please remember that returned items are your responsibility until we receive them, so if you decide to use your own postal service make sure it is a tracked, “signed for” service. Please note that, as you are responsible for the items until they have been received back by us, we cannot accept responsibility for any items damaged/lost whilst being returned to us, even if it is our courier that has collected the items. If items are damaged or lost, then a damage/lost claim will need to be made by you with the delivery agent and only when this has been paid out will we issue any refund due.
Please also note that all glass or pottery items are sent at your own risk. Neither Royal Mail nor any of the couriers pay out for damage to glass or pottery items. When we send the goods out to you, we accept this risk because we can control the suitability of the packaging we use; however, if you are returning such goods, it is done at your own risk. If an item is broken in transit whilst being returned to us, we will not be able to claim and we will not be able to issue a refund, so please ensure it is well packed for the return journey.
How will I know you have received my returned item?
You will automatically receive a confirmation email when your returned item is received back to our premises.
How long will my return take to process?
We aim to process returns as quickly as possible and usually complete them within 7-14 working days. Please allow slightly longer at seasonal peaks.
How will I know when my return is completed?
You will receive an email to update you when your return is completed to let you know either that your replacement product is on its way or that your refund has been processed.
(b) Digital products
We are always delighted when our customers download our free digital offerings. If you have downloaded a free digital product, we’d love to hear from you with your comments, so do get in touch.
Customers who have purchased digital products accessed online or downloaded from Bubbling.Life may be eligible for a refund or be allowed an exchange if they return the item within 7 days of purchase. However, digital products which are purchased as an access card or which are downloadable such as eBooks, are not eligible for return. To obtain a refund, you will be required to supply their order and online access code information to us. Please get in touch for support.

(c) Membership purchases
A 14-day money back guarantee is offered to all new membership purchases, no questions asked. If you are partway through a programme, we require a month's notice of cancellation, otherwise we reserve the right to charge a month's membership fees. We really want to help you get the most out of your relationship with us, so do get in touch with your feedback and queries.

(d) Workshops
As we have to pre-order fresh produce for the workshop participants depending on numbers, no refund can be given with less than 5 working days' notice of cancellation. Please get in touch as a matter of priority to let us know if you cannot attend the workshop you have booked. We may be able to offer you an alternative date, since we run workshops very regularly.
In the unlikely event we have to cancel a workshop, a full refund will be issued.
